Buns for tea
Made buns for tea. The dough is resting.
Made Lotus paste buns ( top ) and chocolate coffee buns ( bottom).
Kumutha and Suresh's Wedding Cake
Last weekend was my cousin sister Kumutha's Wedding. I was in-charge off her wedding cake.
She wanted it to be simple and sweet. Color theme was marron, gold and off-white. So I did a 2 tier wedding cake with roses and butterfies. Placed the bride and groom bear on top. The bottom tier is orange cake with orange butter icing, while the top tier was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and almonds. Both the cakes are covered with fondant.
Had fun doing this too.

Thiaga and Devi's Cake Hantaran
It was my younger brother's Engagement last week. And it is customary to take gifts for the bride. I was given the task to make 2 type of goodies for the hantaran (gift) . The above pictures are the cake that I did for them. It is chocolate cake with chocolate icing and covered with fondant. I used brush embroidery technique to do the flowers. Since the color theme was marron and off white, that was what I come up with.

This is the 2nd cake that I did. This is a bandung jellycake. The Arum Lily flowers were also done using agar-agar.

Chocolate orange marble cake with chocolate butter icing. Roses and dassies are done using sugarpaste.

This is an engagement cake. The theme colour was purple and flowers are roses.
