This was this year's CNY cake that was ordered by a relative of ours for a friend. It was moist chocolate cake with butter icing.
The flowers, oranges and firecrakers were handmade using sugarpaste. The gold bar and coins are chocolates, which my darling hubby manage to buy from the supermarket. Thanks dear. The chocolates gave the cake the extra glitter.....
